Ford Capri V8 Race Prepared

Back in 1984 a guy called 'Wally' was lucky enough to have this Capri as a company car, back then it had a humble 1.6 litre engine. Wally loved his company car that much he bought it off his company and kept it as his own pride and joy. Many years passed and although Wally loved his Capri very much, he felt it lacked a little something, so in 2003 Wally spent over £23,000 having a Ford Windsor V8 with SVO alloy heads shoe horned under the bonnet coupled to a new Tremac 5 speed gearbox. A limited slip diff was fitted and the brakes were upgraded with willwood discs upfront and Cosworth discs in at the rear. A full roll cage was fitted and the chassis was ladder framed. After spending thousands on the car, Wally was finally happy. Now the car is here with us and looking for a new home. The engine roar alone is enough of a reason to buy the car, but the bodywork is also exceptionally good for a 35 year old Capri and the workmanship of the conversion has obviously been done to a very high standard. The car could easily be adapted for hill climb, tarmac rallying or taken straight to Santa Pod. New Sparco bucket seats have been fitted, and a fresh MOT will be done for the lucky new owner. Dont be boring, be like Wally.

A video showing the car running will be uploaded to our facebook page.
